10.2.14 WESTPORT WINERY
To be honest, I don’t even know where to start on how beautiful, inspiring and amazing this place is.
I would say that the greenhouse is my favorite – EVERYTHING. IN. IT. EVERYTHING!
After raving about it to Carrie, she said that her mom got the idea on Pinterest.
A beautiful flowering succulent and the vineyard.
Westport Winery’s premises are BEAUTIFUL – I would love to shoot a wedding here one day…
I almost forgot to mention, a portion of each bottle benefits designated local charities.

10.2.14 WISHKAH RIVER DISTILLERY
Last week, during my travels, I had the opportunity to meet Josh, master distiller and co-owner of Wishkah River Distillery. I typically do not drink spirits but was very intrigued by their Honey Vodka and am now a fan – very unique and flavorful vodka! Keep in mind, it is not honey flavored vodka, it is vodka derived from mead – a kind of beer made from honey. It was very cool to be able to converse with a true artisan. Thank you, Josh!
Distillery equipment.
Just immaculate.
”Tasting room”
Product line.
Tasting commences!
I’m not a big spirits drinker, but I had fun tasting the different characteristics of each spirit.
I am still trying to convince Josh to also brew beer (since they’re already making it anyway!).
Thank you, Josh for welcoming me to your distillery and answering all of my questions about your operations. Also, thank you for letting me use the photos on my little photography blog. I love spreading the word about small businesses, especially those that support local farmers who practice sustainable agriculture.

11.9.13 CUPPING THERAPY AND MICHELLE’S HEADSHOTS
What is cupping therapy?
It is the inverse of massage which utilizes negative pressure to relieve tension
and affect tissues up to four inches deep from the external skin.
Michelle is a therapist at Body Sense Wellness who specializes in cupping therapy.
Love how these shots turned out – she was a lot of fun to work with!
Caption from her FB business page (https://www.facebook.com/BodySenseMichelle):
“See those arm tattoos? That should help answer some questions about
‘what's with all the playing card stuff on your business cards?’”
Michelle also does other massage modalities such as: Swedish, deep tissue, sports massage…etc.
Thank you, Michelle, for letting me photograph you in action and for being such a pleasure to work with!
